Senate confirms Joint Chiefs chair amid Tuberville blockade
A new Joint Chiefs chairman is finally confirmed, but Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) is still blocking hundreds of military confirmations with military families caught in the middle. Plus, Attorney General Merrick Garland fires back at some of his fiercest Republican critics today, declaring that he is not the president’s lawyer. Also, a fight for number two in the Republican GOP race and it is not Ron DeSantis.
