Do you ever wonder why you're in such a bad mood, and then realize it’s because you have a social engagement that you’re really nervous about?
Do you feel completely burnt out after a normal day of interacting with others?
Are you afraid that people think you’re shy or unsure of yourself because you are so quiet?
Does living in a world that was made for outgoing people just leave you exhausted?
Have you ever been told to grow some skin and toughen up?
If yes, I’m with you. I’m Elle, and I’m just trying to get through life as a highly-sensitive introvert.
For years, I went about it the wrong way. I thought that the secret to becoming more confident, more brave, more sure of myself was to fundamentally change my personality--to become an extrovert, to be more outgoing, more talkative.
But that’s just not me, and it’s probably not you either.
I believe I can be the bravest, truest version of yourself and still be a sensitive person. I’m hoping stories from my journey will help anyone out there struggling to accept themselves as a sensitive introvert.
So join me as I talk about my struggles, my challenges, my successes, and the things that bring me, a highly sensitive introvert, joy, in a new podcast, Sensitive is Beautiful. Because being too soft and too sensitive is not a bad thing.
New episodes will drop every Saturday.
