Google has confirmed with Search Engine Land that it has made a change to the way it displays snippets in search results. A snippet is the description of a page shown below the URL in an organic search result that helps show how it relates to the search query. Joy Hawkins discusses 10 Myths of Local at LocalU Advanced in Santa Monica. Local SEO is competitive and fierce. With more and more local businesses vying for the Google local three-pack and ads and online directories occupying a large percentage of the remaining SERP real estate. basically saying your local SEO strategy has to be aggressive. And finally, Google has released a year's worth of data in Google Search Console, well the beta version. If you have access to the beta version of Google Search Console and go to the performance report, you will see a filter to change the date range for that report and the options include over 12 months of data.
