Philadelphia police are looking to identify a man wanted in connection with a shooting aboard a SEPTA bus that left three women hurt Tuesday afternoon. It was the second shooting involving a SEPTA bus in the last four days.

Authorities have arrested and charged a man they say had 50 pounds of explosives inside a home that caught fire Oct. 4 in the city’s Mayfair neighborhood.

Time is running out in the current legislative session, but Democrats in Pennsylvania are trying to push through a mass transit funding bill.

There is no clear reason for the recent drop in violent crime in Philadelphia, but community anti-violence organizations are sharing in the credit for a sharp reduction in homicides.
