It was more than just a knowledge of God - it was a holy fear of God! The Holy Spirit of God indwells believers with a holy fear of God that not only compels missional movement but empowers it!

Sunday, September 22, 2019. Before Jesus commands his followers to "go," he first commands that they "wait." God's Spirit empowers God's people with His presence to glorify and enjoy Him for the work in the waiting.

Sunday, September 15, 2019. At the beginning of Matthew 3, the Scriptures speak of John the Baptist. At the end of Matthew 3, the Scriptures speak of Jesus the Christ. Both are presented preaching the same message. It is a message of repentance. John prepares the way for Jesus by calling the people to repentance. It is a relelvant message for for the Church today, as we prepare for Jesus to return by living a lifestyle of repentance.
