Pastors Jim and Pam are calling CCC to fast and pray with other Christians across America who are praying from The Feast of Trumpets (September 18th) to Yom Kippur (September 28th). Today's sermon calls our church to respond to the covenant agreement our forefathers made with God at the discovery and founding of America.

In Joel 2, we hear the call to fast and pray for the outpouring of God's Spirit on His people. Soon we will have one of the most important and consequential elections of our lifetime. Pastor Jim calls CCC to join together in a season o fasting and prayer for our nation September 18th to the 28th.

Now more than ever we must claim our faith in the Hope that Christ Jesus has secured for us through his blood. No-one, not even God, will force us into faith, it must come from an earnest desire to know him and believe that he loves us.

The Scriptures teach us about God’s role in government. The Scriptures give instructions and examples of the believers role and relationship with government.

God goes before us, behind us, above us, and below us. He is in our tomorrow, our today, and our yesterday. Not only is He there with His presence, He is also there with his provision. God is shaping history, nations, churches, and his children. We walk now in the peace and expectation of God’s providential care.
