We cannot fight the current battle using human weapons. We need to fight through faith and obedience, being faithful to stand strong in an evil day.

The Apostle Paul was determined to destroy the faith of those who were following The Way. What started as a human plot was interrupted by Jesus, and the Apostle Paul ended up being one of the most profound conversions to Christ and powerful testimony in the New Testament.

It took persecution to get the church out of their comfort zone. Finally the word was spreading as the people were scattered through Judea and Samaria. Philip, a deacon, moved forward in the power of the Holy Spirit and He truly blessed his ministry.

The Lord saves you in your times of tribulation and not always from it. He who starts a good work in you will surely finish it.

Psalm 68:5-6 "Sing to God, praise his name; exalt the rider of the clouds. Rejoice before Him whose name is the Lord. Father of the fatherless, defender of widows - God in His holy abode.

Jesus reflects the father as our children are a reflection of us.

The Lord seeks a humble servant and shows us this by leaving his throne, and comings a servant to redeem us.

The holy God of Israel is the same holy God of the Church. With every revival comes not only the fire power but also the fire of judgment beginning in the house of the Lord.

Peter and John were in the position where they had to chose between obeying God and obeying men. They decided that speaking with boldness of Jesus’ behalf was their only option.

The role of mothers is being marginalized in our culture. Pastor Jim encourages mothers to see the high value the Lord places upon their role.
