“You are a king, then!” said Pilate. He was surprised and amazed. Jesus is the King of all and as such all is subjected to His rule. We cannot experience true significance until we subject ourselves to His reign over our lives. What can we learn from looking at how our King was treated when He came to earth to reveal His love to us and His response to that treatment?

The starter’s gun sounds, then sounds again...a false start. The night’s darkness is chased away by the sunrise...a fresh start. Too often we feel defined, restrained, even shamed by the “false starts” in our lives. What would it be like to ‘Embrace the True Significance’ by living in the vitality of our ‘fresh starts’ available to us with Jesus?

This week distinguishes the USA from every other people in the world. The courage required to sign that Declaration of Independence was only exceeded by the courage to live the rest of their lives in passionate pursuit of becoming a new nation of freedom people! “The People of God” are called to live courageously, as we passionately pursue becoming the Godly “Rescued People” our world desperately needs.

What is it like to live free, having been rescued from inescapable enslavement? For 3,000 years, Jewish people have annually celebrated “the Passover.” Nothing more distinctively defines them as a unique, "rescued" people. Are you "rescued" or living in some bondage? Do you have a rescue plan? Is it guaranteed to free you? And then what?
