Pastor Doug explains how the Cross became the centerpiece of the perfect plan to set things right between God and Man and cancel the penalties for our sin. In a way that Satan did not expect and which Man did not understand, God used the Cross to set up His hidden kingdom on earth that made us heirs to his throne. Our victory was actually secured by Jesus’ surrender to God’s perfect will. His surrender is the example for us to follow as well in our everyday lives - which can become extraordinary when we follow Him.

As the Apostle Paul says in Ephesians, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age...” In this message, Pastor Doug teaches us how the “armor of God” is our key to victory for today and the ages to come.

I Am Not That Man

One of the tactics Satan uses to keep us on defense is to attack us with guilt, condemnation, and shame. When we feel unworthy, we’re not prepared to move ahead and serve God without fear. Pastor Doug explains that we can overcome Satan’s accusations and our own feelings of failure by claiming God’s promise: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
