- As we consider God’s grace and forgiveness that has come to us through the sacrifice of Christ, how should this impact our lives? Can we just continue in a life of following our own way, and rely on God to forgive us for all of our sins? Just as Adam and Eve had a choice between 2 ways - following God’s way or following their own - we have that same choice today; this is the challenge of the Christmas story.

Why didn’t he just forgive all of us for our sin and separation from him, and be done with it?
