At some point in our inner war, we need to be prepared to switch from defense to offense. Destroying Strongholds

As part of our inner war, we often face situations, problems, or patterns of sin that simply won’t go away, no matter how many times we face them and try to overcome. When we fail to win these battles, Satan tries to tell us that it’s too late - we’ll never change or see change, so we might as well just give in and surrender to it. In this message, Pastor Doug shares God’s proven strategy for destroying these strongholds to achieve absolute spiritual victory.

Watch Out for the Gibeonites

Just when we start to get good at turning back the direct attacks of the enemy, he switches tactics. Much like the Children of Israel did with the Gibeonites as they battled their way into the promised land, we often make a bad compromise and choose to allow some of our old nature to remain in our lives. Pastor Doug encourages us to not be satisfied with trying to control the enemy; our objective should be his total annihilation from our lives.

Don't Get Hijacked

Knowing Your Enemy and His Tactics

In the opening message of this series, Pastor Doug explains the history of spiritual warfare, and how God’s plan to redeem mankind is opposed by Satan. This war is fought within each one of us, without regard to whether or not we would choose to be in such a battle. If we’re going to win the war, we have to come to know who our enemy is and what he uses against us, so we can develop both a good defense and an effective offense.

We’ve all been dared to do something in life, usually something risky or downright foolish. Often, when we take on a dare, we end up facing some sort of penalty because of what we have done. In this challenging message, Pastor Doug dares us to trust God when He says that we should “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you" (Luke 6:38). Here, there is no penalty...just a reward.
