Chances are you are not a eunuch. But for each of us there are things in our lives we are painfully aware that we lack! While the rest of the world may tell us we are rejected because of our lacking, God wants you to know you are priceless! So priceless that God is chasing after you!

The same guy that previously gave up, panicked, and denied is now willing to risk beatings and prison for the gospel after the Holy Spirit comes into his life. In the same way, God asks each of us to take great risks for him. Risks that can be expensive, uncomfortable, and countercultural BUT will bring Jesus glory. Our sin separates us from God, but because of his love Christ sacrifices his life in our place. Much like the popular U2 lyric God conveys to all people “I can’t live with or without you.” All he asks is accept this sacrifice. God knows you are sinner. “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8). But that has never stopped him from loving you. Do not live another day ignoring his sacrifice, accept his love and live with Jesus.

Everybody has deep dark corners in their hearts they would rather keep veiled than allow others to see. Yet Christ tells us that he does not want our lives to be veiled, instead he wants us to display his glory (2 Cor 3:18). He tells us that the way our veil can be removed is by believing in him 2 Cor 3:14. This sermon is about the way Christ goes about removing veils in our lives.

Scripture makes it clear that God has considered us special from the moment we were made (Gen 1:27; Matt 10:30). Despite this position of favor before our creator, in this life is can be easy to loose sight of our value in God’s eyes. This message is a reminder to every individual that you are God’s and He thinks you are Special.

1 John 3:1 declares, “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” We live busy lives filled with errands, jobs, kids activities, and much more. Yet, God calls us in the midst of all this to take some time to recognize what really matters, our membership in God’s family. When we regularly take a few moments from our busy schedule to allow God to lavish His love on us what we rediscover is the ridiculous privilege it is to be God’s children!
