Don’t just take our word for it . . . take His! We would encourage you to spend time examining the following Scriptures that shaped this sermon: 2 Cor 5:16-21, Matt 16:13-17.
Sermon Notes
To be converted involves a new way of seeing… everything! Specifically in our passage from 2 Corinthians 5:16 – 21, we note a new way of seeing:
Jesus – as Savior and Lord
Ourselves – as a new creation
Others – in need of reconciliation to God (and ourselves as God’s ambassadors)Sermon Application
Why is seeing Jesus as Savior, by itself, not enough?
Is identity constructed or received?
Does someone need to be angry with God or a staunch atheist in order to be in need of reconciliation?
