As we start Acts today we look at who wrote it, why he wrote it and the main message of the book.

The book of Mark ends with a peculiar little note. We'll talk about that part of Mark's account and how they came up with what's in the bible a little in today's episode.

The way we see the world around us is called our worldview. The focus of our worldview will ultimately change the way we see those around us, talk to them and treat them. But sometimes our worldview causes us to shut people out. This week we look at Saul and see how his worldview caused him to shut down anyone who didn't think like him.

When we have a really bad day we want to cower in fear or hide from the world or just go back to bed. Jesus however ran directly into his very bad day knowing exactly what that day meant. But more than that, it was through his very bad day that he actually made a way for you and me!

The bible is full of timely truths and powerful ideas but sometimes we need to see the bible as a means of preparing for what's happening in life. Chapter 14 of Mark's gospel account can be seen partially as a way that Jesus was getting his followers ready for what was soon to happen.
