As we continue moving toward Holy Week and Easter morning, we take another stop along the way and see Jesus through some sleeping eyes. When we're sleeping we can't see the reality of what's around us. When we're sleeping, we can't interact with the world at all. When we're sleeping, we miss so much of life.

Peter slept and it brought the realization that perhaps he wasn't quite as changed as he originally thought. What happens when you fall asleep?

When Jesus went to the cross he caused a ripped effect that would change the way our lives function. In this week's message we'll look at a few of the rings of that ripple effect as we unpack Jesus' conversation with Nicodemus.

What does it mean that Jesus died and rose? What impact does that have on much of the Old Testament? Journey with us to Genesis 3 and see how Jesus' final word from the cross fulfilled this prophecy made in the Garden of Eden.

As we look at Jesus through the eyes of Judas, we see how easy it is to betray him. We betray with our eyes of pride and selfishness. We betray when we put anything before him. We may never betray God for 30 pieces of silver, but what about with our tv time or our money or our job or our fitness or our food or our friends? Do any of these come before Jesus?

We all betray Jesus for something of far less value and worth. Then we feel guilty and remorseful. Then in our sinful condition we go right back and do it all over again. But hear the words of Jesus to Judas and see how Jesus sees you in light of your betrayal.

As we begin this series on the word Tetelestai we look at the final word of Jesus from the cross and what it means for us as followers of Christ. There are six different ways that we can see this final word of Jesus and we'll look at each of them as we journey to Easter morning.

This week we look at how Jesus and Adam were similar yet different. Adam was able to single handedly bring sin and death to all humankind. But Jesus was single handedly able to offer the full price for all of humanity to be saved. We'll look at Genesis 3 and the fall of Adam and Eve, the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness and how they are explained in Paul's letter to the Romans in Romans 5.

Open your bible to Genesis 3 and read the first few verses. Then flip to Matthew 4 and read the first 11 verses. Finally open your bible to Romans 5 and look at verses 12-19.

In this new midweek series we'll look at the events surrounding the life of Jesus. But we'll do it through the eyes of the people who were there. We'll interpret the words and events of Jesus' life through the eyes of those present.

In this week's launch message, we see the anointing of Jesus by the woman in Simon's house. We'll see the event through the eyes of Judas who just couldn't get his mind wrapped around the wasteful mess the woman was making. What do misjudging eyes look like? How do you misjudge the people around you? Do you feel somewhat superior to those with whom you interact? If so perhaps the words of Jesus to Judas here will prove helpful to you.

As we wrap up this series on God questions, we address the question that most people ask. *Does God have a plan for my life?*

This week we look at a favorite passage from Paul's letter to the Romans. This section deals with a famous passage that reminds us that all things work together for good. But what does this mean? What does it mean that all things work for the good?

Our operating idea this week is: What you think about when you think about something determines how you feel and act about it.

The life of a Christian needs a backstop. We all need the place where we can go back to and reset from the busyness lives. For the follower of Jesus that place is worship. But not worship in the Sunday morning at 10:30am sense. Worship is so much bigger than an hour one day a week. Worship is a lifestyle of praise that fuels our purpose which drives our passion. Before you work too hard on your passion, make sure your praise is in the right place.

As we journey through the Bible we notice a lot of trends. One of them is that Jesus is never ok with us just staying in one place in our faith. We need to be growing. In this week's message we spend time looking at the ways God calls us to grow. It seems counterintuitive but the best way to grow and gain is to give away. The more you give the more you grow.
