The Lord Jesus Christ made sure that He described salvation for us with its proper emphasis – the sovereign Lord God has chosen to save a people, and by His grace, He makes them His own.

Jesus wants us to know that He cares for His people and laid down His life to save them.

Throughout the world today, people are trying to find hope in all sorts of places except in Jesus Christ. Many promise life and salvation – only to be unable to satisfy. Jesus tells us that He is the One who knows us and our need.
