The Bible teaches us that children are a blessing from the Lord. Parents are to point them to the Lord Jesus Christ and to build a home that is loving and nurturing.

The Scriptures describe how mothers disciple their children in the knowledge of the Lord. Not every day is Mother’s Day, but we can be thankful to the Lord every day for mothers.

Fathers are to disciple and encourage their children. The Bible shows us that fathers are to be respected and encouraged to take up their responsibilities with an eye toward the Lord.

Marriage is not just something that is practical to society or beneficial for raising children (although it is also that). It is a divine design for human relationships.
