One of the things that we see in the gospel accounts is that Jesus prompted strong responses from the people with whom He interacted. Any view of Jesus as a plain, inoffensive teacher contradicts the facts.

The Lord Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh. In Jesus, God came down and dwelt among humanity.

The good news of the gospel is that our Savior has conquered death! Jesus does not just defeat death – He is the resurrection and the life!

It is not just the ideas of the Bible that are inspired, but the very words – each and every one of them. Jesus emphasizes one word from one verse of the Bible as authoritative.

The Lord Jesus Christ made sure that He described salvation for us with its proper emphasis – the sovereign Lord God has chosen to save a people, and by His grace, He makes them His own.

Jesus wants us to know that He cares for His people and laid down His life to save them.
