Sin has consequences. But our great hope is in “Grace Greater Than Sin”

The account of our Lord’s death from the Gospel of Mark gives us much to consider- what happened in the moments of Christ’s death, and what do they mean for us as believers today?

We have two choices when we sin: try to cover it up with even more sin or confess and repent.

We should shed that kind of improper fear, but that does not mean there is not a proper kind of fear. The Israelites learned this at the foot of Mt. Sinai.

James reminds us of The Importance of Confession (James 5:16) as he calls us to confess our sins to one another.

Paul tell us how to find joy in the midst of suffering.

Before we pass over this chapter, we would do well to linger for a while. We would see that we are called to show kindness even to those who oppose us.

The Lord is not only One who shows mercy, but He has bound Himself to mercy through His covenant.

The Tenth Commandment shows us how impossible it is to keep the Law of God and our need for the Lord Jesus Christ.
