At the close of his second letter to the church at Corinth, Paul gives a final statement of encouragement and blessing.

The Fourth Commandment is the first positive command given in the Decalogue. God has given it to us for our good.

The Lord humbled Paul so that Paul could delight in God’s mercy and his own humility. One of the greatest statements in all of Scripture is, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Paul reminds us that the way of the gospel is to boast about “Strength in Weakness”
