One of the great tactics of the enemy of our souls is to counterfeit the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ with a false gospel. Often, this false gospel will have just enough of the elements of the real gospel so that it deceives even true believers.

The first of the Ten Commandments lays the foundation for all the others. It tells us that the Lord alone is God and that we are to worship only Him.

How can we tell which are the true servants of God, and which are false? The Corinthians faced this very question because people in their midst attacked the Apostle Paul as being a weak, corrupt, and false teacher.

The Lord comes down to Mount Sinai and speaks to the Israelites.

The Apostle Paul tells believers that they are in a war - but it may not be the kind of war in which they think they are.

God promised His Son as the only remedy for sin, and in all these years God’s antidote for fallen humanity has never changed. Christ Crucified is our only hope.

The harvest that we reap through our generosity is not primarily material

The Israelites come to Mount Sinai and prepare to come into the presence of the Lord God, who has redeemed them from Egypt.
