Disciples are privileged to pray as children to an attentive dad. Father, cause yourself to be accurately known and uniquely revered. Father, bring in the full kingdom with all your glory.

1. As our first priority, God calls us to sit in His presence and be fed by His word. 2. It is easy to think of devotion to God as doing for Him instead of being with Him.

Because He first loved us, we therefore are to love God with total devotion in all of life. God first reveals His transcendent glory and His specific love for His people.

Loving difficult people

1. New Testament believers are privileged to live in this stage of God's redemptive work. 2. We are privileged to participate in the mission of building this kingdom.

Christ-centered kingdom growth is indeed cause for rejoicing. The deepest joy is rooted in the triune God's work to save YOU in particular.

1. Jesus has all authority to judge all people on earth. 2. Jesus' greatest wrath will fall on those who reject the clear call of his kingdom reign. 3. We need to remember Who is the object of the response we encounter.

God aims to send us into the world as His harvest-laborers; we are sent with God's guidance, care and authority.

God frustrates our resolve, our insecurity, outside of Him out of fatherly love.

With patient resolve, Jesus will accomplish the Kingdom Mission.
