1. Christ-like disciples have regard for others, not themselves, including the lowly. 2. Christ-like disciples welcome other Christ-centered laborers into the field.

Prosperous life lived independent from God is irrelevant for finding reward from God; to live, we must walk with God, resisting the world by fighting to believe God rewards faith alone

True security and blessing are only found in the Kingdom of God in whole love and loyalty to Him.

Willingly, necessarily, Jesus embraces the way of the cross. Don't be surprised or afraid: we are called to follow Jesus along the way of the cross.

1. In this still fallen world, Jesus is still the same merciful and majestic Lord. 2. In this still fallen world, we still cannot do anything apart from Him and His power.

1. Jesus is the Lord of Glory, the One we are called to follow. 2. Jesus has come to lead his people out of bondage and into his kingdom rest (finally and fully so).

The time is short. Spend your time living in the world as though the world actually is passing away.

Faithful disciples do not seek their lives in the abundance of this world. The Kingdom life you will save must be your constant, vivid motivation.

1. Disciples of Jesus are controlled willingly by His word. 2. The hope of coming glory encourages those who suffer because of Jesus and His word.

Jesus' followers surrender to Him daily, and there-by receive the life of Glory
