Do not be anxious, your caring Father will provide for your needs; Seek the kingdom, instead of daily bread, because that is where your true life is found.

We are freed from covetousness as we become rich towards God.

Disciples must be on guard against spiritual hypocrisy; Fear God so as to stand before Jesus without fear

1. God is not pleased with the self effort of skin-deep religion. 2. We ourselves can never be satisfied with the self effort of skin-deep religion.

We must receive in God's shining light if we want to glow. 1. God has shown forth Christ to the world widely and purposefully. 2. We must be careful on what we focus on, and thereby fill ourselves with. 3. Only the grace of God can give us eyes to see!

God appeals to human kind ultimately through a message of His truth. Behold, something greater has come. Don't miss it.

God's gracious kingdom power must be met with godward faith in Christ. Life comes to the one who in faith keeps God's word.

Our Father wants us to ask persistently, because He wants to give graciously. Our Father gives in response to prayer, maybe not what we ask, but the profound good that we want and need.
