Jesus didn't say it would be easy.

Repentance leads us to come before the Lord confessing our sin against God and our neighbor. Repentance must lead to faith taht God not only can forgive me, but that in Jesus He already has.

What is the Church?

Jesus' multiplication of the loaves and fishes was rooted in his compassion for the people. Through faith in Jesus' great compassion, we respond to the needs of our neighbor with Christ-like compassion.

Our righteousness before God comes not from our own efforts, but only through the cleansing blood of Jesus, in whom we have been declared justified and pleasing to God.

Why does it matter who Jesus is?

A powerful, external force must intervene if there’s going to be any hope of rescue.

On the Saturday afternoon of June 25, 1530, Lutheran princes and laypeople stood up to make a confession of faith that continues to resound.

Because the "harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few," Jesus sent his twelve disciples, the apostles, to proclaim the kingdom of God. Jesus sends his people into the world today to proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
