Our bodies change and age as we grow older, yet we don't want to age! Are we just aging or aging gracefully?

Words of encouragement are far more productive and uplifting to the world than words of discouragement. Barnabas' example was a great role model, especially for those who are not the outspoken, vocal leaders. One can still lead by encouragement.

It is in the worship of Jesus Christ where we should be certain of what we believe. We should be connected to God and know why we do certain sacraments in and out of worship. Examine yourselves and know what is in your hearts and minds before committing to those sacraments.

There are many opportunities to affect the world, sometimes taking a risk in doing so. Be open, be willing to expose yourself to the danger of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others.

In Acts, the early church was filled with the Spirit. The early church also ministered to the poor in their immediate area. This puts the lay people in a position of ministry. They were called Disciples then, today called Congregations. Is the Spirit in you?

How is your prayer life? Prayer is a necessity in life. In our modern culture, we try to live a life of self-sufficiency which pushes prayer to the side. Prayer is our invitation to an intimate relationship with God. The Spirit intercedes for us to God when we pray. Powerful things happen when we get on our knees in prayer.

Evangelism seems to be a most intimidating prospect. What is your idea of an evangelist? Personality matters not. Good wants us to be ourselves, that's it! Be real! God does does not use artificial lures, but live bait. People are drawn to what is real.

We are to love our Lord with hearts and minds and strength. We are also to love our neighbor... Remember our neighbors! Remember those far away and near.

When we identify with the people suffering in the world, whether local or far away, we begin to understand. It is utterly important to empathize and reach out to help others. First, PRAY.

Which of the laws is the greatest? What must one do to inherit eternal life? "Love God", not "obey God" or "fear God". One cannot love laws or inanimate objects. Do we love God as much He loves us?? All too often we're all talk and little action. Do we love God? People often seek God, but aren't really looking for God, but just something spiritual without Him. What does God want from us? Love, love and more love.
