Greatness and Leadership are not achieved through lording power, but through serving others

Our kindness to each other means kindness to Jesus Christ as well.

God's plan is richly on display as we honor one another, whether it is children honoring their parents, adults honoring their elderly parents, people honoring each other or people directly honoring God.

Whatever we can imagine here on earth as utopia, God puts to shame with His true definition of Heaven.

The shepherds, watching their flocks, were not the revered citizens of their society. Why were they chosen by God to reveal the story of Jesus' birth? We discover a paradox in this story. God has friends in low places, a key part of His message and Gift of salvation to the world. It's a great gift to all of us.

This is the time of the year when angels are celebrated as part of the Christmas story. Angels are present at all the important as aspects of Jesus' life. They were helpers to Him in His ministry. God commands His angels His pleasure in the world. Where have we gone wrong with respect to angels? We think it then as cute or wonderful. However, they seemed to suddenly appear and frighten us; look in the Bible. Do not be afraid! Sudden appearances do that to us. Doing God's work has them doing their business without making reservations. They came with a message of good news. It was an important message, the coming of the Savior.

God hangs on to us as a faithful bulldog hangs on...

Let our Joy be ever-present to all we encounter, pure joy, God's Joy!

Our challenges at hand may seem daunting, but remember how the Church has lived on through so much already

There is much to be done. Let us arise and be on our way. We cannot be content to ride in the boat.
