David preaches Joel 1:1-2:17. Joel reveals that God disciplines His own people, and one day He will universally judge sin. Therefore, both believers and unbelievers must repent from their sin with heart repentance.

David preaches 2 Tim. 3:1-5. Paul warns Timothy that difficult times marked by difficult people will raise external opposition to enduring ministry.

Adam finishes teaching from Matt. 6. Matt. 6:25-34 challenges Kingdom citizens to place complete trust in Sovereign God, abandoning the constant pursuit of control and worry rampant in our lives.

Adam preaches Matt 6:24. Jesus demands loyalty from His true followers. Kingdom citizens must prize God over every other competing treasure or pleasure.

Adam preaches Matt. 6:22-23. Just as our treasure will demonstrate what our hearts most value, our treasure will also determine the direction of our lives.

Adam preaches 2 Tim. 2:20-21. Paul contrasts honorable and dishonorable ministers and ministries, challenging Timothy to be separate from error and therefore useful to God.

Adam preaches Matt. 6:19-21. Christ moves from hypocrisy in religious activity to materialism in daily activity, repeatedly exposing the radical and singular devotion required of Kingdom citizens.

Adam preaches the second part of Paul's action list for enduring ministry in 2 Tim. 2:16-19. False teaching must be shunned and treated as the dangerous gangrene that it is to the Body of Christ.

Adam preaches Matt. 6:16-18. Though fasting is not a common practice in current church culture, Christ deals with its latent danger of hypocrisy and so must we.
