Believers in Jesus must be warned that false teachers will creep into the church and try to lead them astray. Therefore, they must be able to identify, resist, and thrive in the midst of false teachers, by growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

As true believers wait for the second coming of Christ, they have a confirmed word of promise from the apostolic witness and the holy prophets that should stir them up to even greater godliness, which in turn assures them of their entrance into His eternal kingdom.

As we depend upon God's grace, we grow in the true knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. The evident and obvious fruit in our lives confirms the genuineness of our faith and gives us tremendous confidence for our future entrance into God's eternal Kingdom.

As believers in Jesus Christ, we are called to entrust our souls to God, by humbling submitting to His good and perfect plan for our lives, which at its core requires humility, joyfully serving others in the midst of suffering, looking forward to the hope of eternal glory.

The Lord Jesus suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring us to God. Knowing that reality, believers are able to rejoice as they suffer for the name of Christ, living out the gospel of grace, looking forward to the eternal reward of glory.

The reality of the resurrection and the return of Christ are motivations for us to live differently from the world, especially in the midst of suffering. Instead of responding like the world, we are to be a people who joyfully love and serve one another for the glory of God.

By faith in Christ, who suffered once for sins and was raised to eternal glory, we have the privilege to suffer for righteousness’ sake, by defending the truth and faithfully living out the gospel of grace, while looking forward and longing for our eternal reward in glory.

God's love for us in Jesus Christ is the foundation of a supernatural community that results in relationships marked by unity, diversity, and love. The church is also marked by a desire for others to come to faith and is motivated by our calling to a supernatural reward.

Wives, husbands, and believers are called to follow Jesus' example and entrust themselves to God, even in the harshest of relationships; living godly lives in order to win spouses and a watching world to faith in Christ while longing for the eternal reward of heaven.

Believers in Jesus Christ have lives that are marked by holiness and gospel proclamation, which means that they are called to submit to human authorities, even if it results in unjust suffering, so that unbelievers might see their good deeds and glorify God in heaven.
