When we're enslaved to our sin, there is the suffering of our body wasting away as the consequence of silence and guilt. True believers, however, know the joy of confessing sin, being forgiven, and experiencing God's on-going protection and instruction in their lives.

Jesus Christ perfectly delighted Himself in the law of the Lord by being obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. By faith in Him, we are made righteous and empowered to walk in righteousness.

Every person has said in their heart and lived out the false belief that "there is no God." The world believes that this is freedom, but the Bible warns us that this is foolishness because of the coming judgment. Our only hope is in Jesus.

David's description of the Lord as his shepherd is ultimately fulfilled in the perfect life and the substitutionary death of Jesus, who willingly laid down His life to rescue our souls from sin and death and lead us in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

The Lord has crowned Christ as King and given to Him the nations as His inheritance and the earth as His possession. Only those who submit to King Jesus will find refuge in His eternal kingdom.

True knowledge of God, which always manifests itself in righteous living, is grounded in the promises of God and certainty of Christ’s return, which compels believers to be growing in godliness.

Believers in Jesus must be warned that false teachers will creep into the church and try to lead them astray. Therefore, they must be able to identify, resist, and thrive in the midst of false teachers, by growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

As true believers wait for the second coming of Christ, they have a confirmed word of promise from the apostolic witness and the holy prophets that should stir them up to even greater godliness, which in turn assures them of their entrance into His eternal kingdom.

As we depend upon God's grace, we grow in the true knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. The evident and obvious fruit in our lives confirms the genuineness of our faith and gives us tremendous confidence for our future entrance into God's eternal Kingdom.

As believers in Jesus Christ, we are called to entrust our souls to God, by humbling submitting to His good and perfect plan for our lives, which at its core requires humility, joyfully serving others in the midst of suffering, looking forward to the hope of eternal glory.
