Jesus Christ did not come to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. Therefore, He calls all those who believe in Him to be humble and servant-hearted in their love one another, by this all people will know that we are His disciples.

As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we must understand the obstacles to our faith so that we can attack them knowledgeably, courageously, and aggressively, knowing that a spiritual battle is raging for our own souls and the souls of those around us!

Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the O.T. prophecies that promised an eternal King and an eternal Kingdom where peace will reign forever and ever. As believers in Christ, we are commissioned by the one true eternal King to be ambassadors of peace and reconciliation!

There is only one way for sinful man to be reconciled to a holy God, and that is by faith in Jesus Christ; a lowly babe, born in a manger who provides us with the glorious gift of salvation through His sacrificial death on the cross. May we glory in the humility of this King!

The Old Testament is filled with signs that a Messiah is coming who is the King of Kings. These signs identify Jesus Christ as that King, who came on a mission to save His people from their sins.

God can use the greatest of human sinfulness to accomplish His great work of redemption. This is seen most clearly in Christ’s rejection, betrayal and crucifixion so that we might receive the blessing of salvation.

Christians die well when they have learned to number their days, have fixed their hope in a heavenly Promise Land that won't fade away, and have labored to leave a strong and enduring gospel legacy behind them.

In accordance with His promise, God is with His people in the person of Jesus for their salvation and in the person of the Holy Spirit for their sanctification. Therefore, we must delight in God's presence now and forever.

Jesus willingly sacrificed Himself so that we might have life and have it to the fullest, which includes the power to repent of sin and walk in righteousness, including a sacrificial love for our brothers and sisters in Christ.

As believers in Christ, we are called to follow the pattern of Jesus, that first comes suffering and then exaltation. But the clear motivation throughout all of Scripture is that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
