Jesus, the master teacher, taught the parable of the soil types so that we might understand the different responses to the gospel. By God’s grace, may we be those who bear eternal fruit for the Kingdom of God.

Jesus fulfills all the Old Testament prophecies. He is the one true Prophet who speaks the word from God. He is the Light of life that speaks truth into the darkness. And He is God. If you listen to Him, you will have the light of life. But if you do not listen, you will die in your sins.

Christ's resurrection isn't just some icing on the cake of our salvation, but an essential part of our justification, sanctification, and glorification, and therefore should be central to our understanding, living and proclamation of the gospel.

Jesus Christ demonstrates that He is the resurrection and the life by speaking life out of death and raising a man from the grave. This sign demands a response because it proves that Jesus indeed is the Messiah.

Jesus Christ is both the door that leads us to the safety and security of eternal life and the good shepherd who lays down His life so that we might be saved through Him. There is only one appropriate response, to worship Him as Savior and follow Him as Lord.
