As a result of the devil’s lies and Adam’s disobedience, we are all sinners enslaved to disobedience, living in a broken world, and in desperate need of a Savior. Through the second Adam, the Lord Jesus Christ, and His perfect obedience, we can be forgiven, made righteous, and live for God’s glory.

By the power of God's word, He provides a perfect paradise in which man and woman are placed to live in eternal fellowship with their Creator. But now, after the fall, Eden is a picture of the glorious paradise that God has in store for all those who trust in Jesus Christ as their Redeemer.

Sermon Theme: By the power of His word, God created the entire universe out of nothing, bringing life out of death, with purpose and meaning; which points us forward to the reality that God also brings spiritual life out of death through His Word, the Lord Jesus Christ, and offers eternal rest in Him.

God, in His infinite wisdom, made mankind as the pinnacle of creation and endowed him with value. Therefore, as faithful followers of Christ, we cannot worship God while treating His supreme creation with contempt or hatred. Loving God requires respect and honor for those made in God's image!

King Jesus commissioned us to go and make disciples of all the nations, which implies that He has the authority to issue that command and that we are already His disciples. As obedient followers, we are called to love one another and share the love of Christ with others.

There is one way for sinful man to be reconciled to a holy God, and that is by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. This babe, born in a lowly manager in Bethlehem, provides peace to all who receive Him, because He alone is the Prince of Peace.

We must worship the one True King, Jesus Christ, fully and without distraction, understanding clearly that He alone is worthy of glory and honor and praise!

The Old Testament is filled with signs that a Messiah is coming who is the King of Kings. These signs identify Jesus Christ as that King, who came on a mission to save His people from their sins.

As a result of the God’s grace and Christ’s sacrificial payment for our sins on the cross, which secured the generous gift of our salvation, we are called to excel in generosity to the church and to the advancement of the gospel.

True unity in the gospel, which is grounded in the hope of Christ’s 2nd coming, requires each individual member to pull their own weight, not be a burden, and hold one another accountable to biblical faithfulness. Therefore, unity requires accountability.
