The ability to rejoice always, to pray without ceasing, and to give thanks in everything is only possible when we understand and believe that the Lord is God and that God is always good in Jesus.

Baptism is the church's act of affirming a believer's union with Christ and a believer's act of publicly testifying to their faith in Christ. The Lord's Supper is the people of God remembering Christ's finished work on the cross and testifying to their on-going faith in him.

Church membership is biblical, practical, and wise. It's also a commitment that a Christian makes to a local gathering of believers as they long for the final gathering of all believers in heaven.

God's great love for us in Jesus Christ is the basis of our community as a church and results in relationships that are marked and characterized by forgiveness, love, diversity, and acceptance. This is radically different than the world and is gloriously beautiful.

Sinners are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, and yet salvation is not merely mental assent or a matter of human effort, but the result of God's miraculous work in a person's heart and mind that results in real and radical transformation.

Christians are temporary residents in this life. As such, we are called to live with an intentional hope. This hope in Christ leads us to live holy lives. And this hope is rooted in the good news of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

The good news of the gospel is that our holy, just and loving creator God made a way for sinful man to be delivered from the judgement we deserve thourgh the payment of another. Salvation is only available in Jesus, but it demands a response of repentance and faith.

All Scripture, the Law, the Psalms, and the Prophets, teach us about Jesus, His person and His work. They instruct us about His death, burial, and resurrection and the salvation that is ours in Him. Therfore, our whole lives should be about Jesus.

God has made a way for people in the world to be in a right relationship with Him through Christ's death and resurrection. And now, God has entrusted that message to us so that He, through us, might reach the lost.

God will build His church, adding to their number day by day those who are being saved, through Holy Spirit empowered preaching.
