Believers are more than conquerors through faith in their crucified and risen Savior, Jesus Christ, the Son of Man (Dan. 7), who ushers in God’s kingdom with power and authority, secured through His death as the Suffering Servant (Is. 53) and ultimately given to the saints of the Most High.

Based on the Son of Man's death, burial, resurrection and ascension, believers in Jesus Christ have been given God's kingdom with all authority, being commissioned to fill the earth with God's glorious presence and image through the faithful preaching of the gospel, despite persecution.

In the midst of the apparent rejection of exile, God raises up a prophet from among the people who is worthy, without blemish, and full of wisdom to proclaim the good news of God’s future coming Kingdom. But the question that must be answered is, “Will we actually listen to Him?”

How can sinful people live in the presence of a holy God? Jesus came to make atonement for our sin; for Christ suffered once for sin, the righteous for the unrighteous that he might bring us to God. Because of Christ's substitutionary atonement, we are reconciled to God for all eternity.

Jesus came to be the One True Passover Lamb to deliver us from the judgment of God and the power of sin. To do so, He willingly offered Himself up as a substitute for our salvation. Therefore, we should respond with gratefulness and praise as we constantly remember His goodness and grace.

True hope and real salvation are only found in God through Jesus Christ. Therefore, our hope cannot be in man, nor in our own construction of who God is, but in the Jesus revealed to us through His Word. True followers of Christ respond with a life of praise to God.

God is seeking people who worship Him in spirit and in truth. So true believers in Jesus are faithful to remind themselves of God's glorious benefits, His unchanging character, and His steadfast love and respond in whole-hearted praise of His holy and righteous name.

Possessing Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord is all that we should ever want or need, because only in Him is the nearness of God our good. And when He is the only thing that we desire, our hearts are filled with an overwhelming joy and a zeal to share with others.
