Sermon Series: Summer in the Psalms Our guest speaker, Kris Konig, spoke about praising God from Psalm 145. He showed us how this Psalm reveals who God is, what He has done and what we are to do in response.

Sermon Series: Summer in the Psalms Our guest speaker, Jeff Martin, spoke about wisdom from Psalm 19. Wisdom is living rightly in response to God's truth. Psalm 19 tells us that God reveals Himself in two ways: in nature and in Scripture. Nature proclaims the splendour of the Glory of God, and Scripture gives us a fuller understanding of who God is.

Sermon Series: Summer in the Psalms Our Managing Pastor, Andreas Dimond, spoke about the joy of forgiveness from Psalm 32. Sin is the biggest problem facing humanity, but through genuine confession we can receive forgiveness and experience the blessing of an intimate relationship with our Father. We can choose to hide our sin or make God our hiding place.

Sermon Series: Summer in the Psalms Our guest speaker, Dan Allen, encourages us from Psalm 139 to have a high view of God. He is omniscient - He knows us completely. He is omnipresent - He is always with us. He is omnipotent - He has wonderfully created us. And He is omni-righteous - He is constantly working in us.

Sermon Series: Summer in the Psalms Our guest speaker, Matt Robinson, spoke from Psalm 20. Psalm 20 is a royal psalm, and it reminds us that we can have hope because we have faith in our King. It seems as if this psalm was written for Israel on the eve of battle. Israel needed to have confidence in their king as he led them into battle. King David was a man after God’s own heart and he had faith in God as he led the nation. We follow King Jesus through the battles of life, and He has ultimately won the battle through His victory on the cross. His victory is our victory.

Our guest speaker, Roger Pascoe, introduces the book of Psalms by describing the literary structure. Psalm 1 describes two people and two destinies. It gives us characteristics of both the godly and the ungodly. May we all be like the tree planted by streams of water, daily meditating on the Word of God and following hard after Jesus.

Our guest speaker, Roger Pascoe, reminds us of the confidence, courage and comfort found in Psalm 23. The Lord is our faithful Shepherd whom we can confidently trust in all our circumstances.

Our guest speaker, Doug Loveday, highlighted the work of the Trinity from Ephesians 1:1-14. God the Father has blessed us with spiritual blessings, choosing us from the foundation of the world to be adopted into His family. This is possible through Jesus the Son, who redeemed us with His blood. At salvation we were sealed with the Holy Spirit, who is a guarantee of our future inheritance. Doug reminded us that Jesus is with us in all of life, so we need to build our lives on the foundation of His Word.

Sermon Series: Cross Over Our guest speaker, Darcy Dueck, wrapped up our sermon series on salvation by talking about union with Christ, the foundational doctrine of salvation. He encouraged us to build our identity on who we are in Christ, which is a good foundation. He reminded us that our union with Christ is good news, and we must continue to develop good habits as we abide in Christ.
