This Thursday’s Episode Drink: Amaretto Sour
Ingredients
• 1 ½ oz (45 ml) Amaretto liqueur
• 1 oz (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
• ½ oz (15 ml) simple syrup (or to taste)
• Optional: ½ oz (15 ml) bourbon (adds depth and balances sweetness)
• Ice cubes
Instructions
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Add the amaretto, lemon juice, and simple syrup (plus bourbon if using).
3. Shake well until chilled (about 15 seconds).
4. Strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with fresh ice.
5. Garnish with a lemon wheel or cherry.
