The Crone and Sage start out by talking about how the rapidly increasing Light Energy is caling to both of us, but being somewhat older, the spirit is willing but the body takes a while longer during this season to catch up. They then finish up the discussion about the Candlemas Times of Creativity and Inspiration prompts because the Dark Moon at the end of the month will be when we celebrate the ritual of Ingress for Beltane, the start of yet another Cross Quarter Times. The Moon is waning and is in Sagittarius as we record and a Waning Moon is a great time to let go of things we may not need any longer or are holding on to still in our lives as we have grown and changed over the last months, years, decades, etc. The Liturgy reading is a Praise Poem to The Divine. Both of us have been focusing on the Liturgy Challenge of the Hours additions to our day as part of the Ritualization of the Everyday. Finally, as always, the Sage gives a Witchstone reading about what energies we may need to be aware of for the next few days for Body, Mind, and Spirit, our Sacred Three.

The Crone and Sage offer up the Midday Prayer which is the fourth specific time of day in the Liturgy of the Hours. When people were more agrarian based, Midday tended to be the time of day when the Sun was highest in the sky but nowadays it’s more based on a lunch break from a job or when you get a minute to yourself at home. It’s another chance to take that pause, take three deep breaths, one for Body, one for Mind, and one for Spirit and reset your day as a Witch.
