Riverdale has a reputation for wild swings and unpredictability. Anything can happen. After recapping every episode we give our best guesses to what will happen next. If our predictions are actually accurate, does that mean Riverdale is more consistent with better follow-through than most people will admit? Or are we just that good? (It's both)

This episode covers issues 36 and 37 of Life With Archie by Paul Kupperberg, Art by Pat Kennedy, Tim Kennedy, and Fernando Ruiz

Years before the teens of Riverdale dealt with adult situations on TV, they dealt with them as, well, adults on the page. Life With Archie ended with a bang as Archie bled out on the waxed Chok-Lit Shoppe floor, and we're here to tell you all about it. Then, we conclude our reading of All the Snakes of the Forest. Is this a step toward the CW's Riverdale, or a condemnation of it? How would you end a story designed to never have one? How hard is it to say your wife's name?

Riverdale may be the first live-action Archie series on TV, but it wasn't the first attempt. Well, neither is the one we're talking about, but it's the oldest one we could find. This mid-60s attempt at adaptation was actually pretty good for its time (if you're into that sort of thing). Should Weatherbee be one of Fred's patients? Is lying contagious? Who stole Jughead's identity and where did they hide the body?
