What energy? Sexual energy because that is what we're digging into in this episode.

We're back with a new name and a clarified mission....Sex and Sensuality for Church Girls is committed to deconstructing beliefs around sex and our sensuality every single episode.

This week's episode in honor of Sexual Health Month we're talking about pleasure! Why is pleasure important to the church girl? How can it help us flourish? How do we interrogate our beliefs around it so we can in turn give ourselves to experience pleasure in every area of our lives.

Then we get into the newly released film, "Honk for Jesus Save Your Soul" starring Sterling K. Brown and Regina Hall. Regina as Trinitie Childs was a very real and disheartening depiction of what so many women particularly in the church often go through to be married. We're told in so many ways that if we experience pleasure it is to be experienced by giving it to a man and expecting very little and return. What do we do, though? We get into that on today's episode.

To close out we end with a centering moment with some affirmation around desire and pleasure to offer you some emotional self-care as you may have been activated by some of the topics discussed today.

In the process of taking up our God-given space one must make the consistent choice to be authentic. Authenticity is the quality of being authentic. Authentic is defined as genuine, based on facts; accurate or reliable.

Let's talk about manifestation! In a recent Facebook room hosted by Saweetie with Ari Lennox and Erykah Badu Saweetie asked Erykah for advice in manifesting success in their industry. She shared several gems, but briefly mentioned alignment. She unfortunately didn't have enough time to expand and I notice how often when people talk about manifestation on social media they fail to mention how important alignment is when manifesting. So, let's talk about it. LuzCelenia also shares some other manifestation hacks that she's personally uses on her journey,

1. Express gratitude for what you already have and now for what is coming
