Here another story from Panchatantra that show how men and beast are different and who can be reliable friend.

This story is again based on humans and lead actors are not animals. Hence I feel that this is added as a addition in the translations by writer later on.

It is also not very suitable for young kids and hence if you want to listen to this with kids, you may like to skip this story.

Since Mr Ryder had on his version on translation, I have retained it.

Numskull and the Rabbit is one of the famous Panchatantra Stories and most the Indian people have gone through this either as a kid or was included in the the course textbook.

Numskull is a foolish lion full of pride. His Sanskrit name is Bhasuraka. This is a story how intelligent rabbit saves all the animals and fools Numskull with his intelligence.

The Cunning Heron fooled the fishes and ate them on the pretext on moving them to safer place. The Crab found that out and killed the Heron and brought justice to innocent fishes that were killed the Heron. 

With Intelligence much can be achieved and the Crow family finally found a way to get the Cobra killed.

This one has three stories, Godly and June, The Jackal at the Ram-fight and The Weaver's Wife which are related to one another and are continuation. The Weaver's Wife looks like a later introduction into Panchatantra tales because the setting doesn't have animals but based on humans which is normally not the theme of Panchatantra 

Mr. Ryder names have followed the literal translation and the original names of Godly is Devasharma and June is Ashadhbhuti which mean someone born in Asadh a month in Hindu Calendar corresponding to July-Aug
