We all have the choice between “Shalom or Stress” in our lives. Troubles will always come, but the Lord offers us peace to cultivate a spirit of shalom in any season. In the Bible, Mary and Martha show the contrast between a peaceful heart and a stressful heart.

The stress we experience comes from four things: places, people, problems and paces. If we do not find our peace in God, we will find ourselves in the traps and distractions set by the enemy. Evaluate where you allow stress to overwhelm your mind and heart by yielding to the Holy Spirit’s voice.
