going back to the origin story we discover that God did 3 things for Adam ( for a man), he gave him WORK ( To tend the Garden), WISDOM ( To be able to name all of the animals) & the a WIFE ( Eve)

I call them the 3 Ws - WORK, WISDOM & WIFE...

In this episode we spoke about another one of Dr. Gary Chapman's book which was discussed on Joyce Meyers podcast.

Dr. Chapman spoke about the 4 seasons of Marriage ( just like the 4 seasons of Summer, Autumn, Spring & Fall).

In this episode, I broke it down into 2 major seasons ( Raining Season & Dry Season) considering that I live in the Tropic & our seasons are 2 not 4.

In this episode we continue our discussion about the 5 love languages & what the expectation are for each of them.

I reiterated on some of the points made in the last episode & also talked about the marriage as a BOX, an empty box that needs to be filled by both parties with what both parties wants to see & enjoy in the marriage.

Maintaining a solid marriage is great work that pays off in the long run.

So we took a journey back to the beginning in the Book of Genesis to look into the details of the process God took to create & select Eve to Adam.

This is Ep6 of Tots Eclectic Season 2. In this episode I talked about Team Dynamics in a Couple or Marriage Relationship.

Just like in any life endeavor you cant achieve greatness alone, the scripture says "It's not good for Man ( Mankind) to be alone.

So in this relationship, there are essentially 2 people, Then Man & the Woman ( then later on the kids come into play).

For any Team or group, there are certain team dynamics that occur in 4 stages:

1. The Forming Stage

2. The Storming Stage

3. The Norming Stage

4. The Performing Stage

Conduct an assessment of your relationship to figure out where you belong & take the right steps to see through all of the stages.

Happy New Year SHMILY Family!!

In this 5th Episode ( the 1st for the year 2025), we continue our discussion on the MISSION & VISSION topic as we define what a Vision is & what a shared Vision is for a couple.

I also mentioned the need of constant communication as the Life-Blood of every relationship.

This is Episode 4 of Tots Eclectic Season 2 & our focus is on The Mission & Vision.

It is also Christmas Day & It's amazing to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with family & friends as we create memories that will last for a full year.

My thoughts were about getting clarity about the essence of our relationships, why are we together? What is our mission & vision as a family, as a couple.

The book & Movie by Steve Harvey called "Act like a Lady, think Like a Man" comes handy in this podcast.

You need to align with your partner about the Mission & Vision of the relationship, ask the question "Where are we going with this relationship?"

Then form objectives, strategies, tactic that you both will work on to achieve these goals & targets.

We will be taking a short break & resume in February 2025.

In this episode, we go back to the Origin.

There is the Law of First Mention that states that if you want to know & understand anything, so check the 1st time it was used or mentioned.

So we go back to the Original creation story & how God was the originator of Marriage.

God made provisions for everything Mankind will need before creating them.

He also gave Man ( Adam) a Job first before creating the Woman ( Eve)

He made Adam to name all of the animals (with a view of getting a Partner for Adam), but none fit until God made Adam to sleep & he created Eve out of Adam.
