Happy new year! John Oates checked in as our first star phone guest of the year to talk about his solo tour in support of his critically acclaimed album "Arkansas."
Arkansas is a passion project of John's because it brings him back to his blues guitar-playing days before he teamed up with Daryl Hall, which led to them becoming the biggest selling duo in music history!
Check out John at the South Orange Performing Arts Center 1/4/19, the Landmark on Main Street in Port Washington 1/5/19 & City Winery 1/6/19 - tickets on sale now at www.ticketmaster.com.

(11:13) WEINSTEIN JEREMY PRISON – Harvey Weinstein, Scott accidentally called Harvey Weinstein a ‘hogwart’ instead of a ‘warthog’ and was corrected by a young Harry Potter fan named Jeremy who’s a P-1 listener…Jeremy then had to listen to a very adult story about a North Carolina prison getting Viagra smuggled in

The Big Show has been hot on the trail of Hugh Jackman for an interview and we heard he was available to the media after his ‘Today Show’ appearance December 4th, so naturally we sent Brad Blanks on a special mission to talk to the “Greatest Showman” actor who’s embarking on his first world tour in 2019!

It's been a long time coming...after years of constant stress and controversy (and a physical altercation), Brad Blanks finally got the interview he's coveted since joining the big show...a face to face with Julia Roberts!
He caught up with her on the red carpet for her new movie "Ben is Back" and he even got some parenting advice!
To fully understand how big this is for Brad, you have to go back many years ago when the big show "pushed" Brad to get an interview with Julia when she was in the middle of a Broadway run. After multiple unsuccessful attempts they told him to stand outside the theater and yell out her famous movie quotes, which prompted her security to stop him!
Well, Brad got the interview with his "big kahuna" so take a listen...
