In this episode, we discuss Toni's powerful and poetic memoir about what it means to exist as an indigenous woman in America, told in snapshots of her encounters with gun violence. This episode is unique because it's a sneak peek into our monthly book club discussions, rather than recording our regular book review episode we decided to record our monthly book club meet-up. It's just a snapshot as our meetings are typically 1.5 hours!

It's Pride month! and we want to talk about the intersections of race and Queerness. We discuss how homophobia might look different for ethnic minorities, how racialized Queers are treated vs white Queers, and discuss if racialized communities really are more homophobic than white people or not.
