If you’re asking your wife to apologize because you’re right and she’s wrong…

You probably won’t get very far.

She’ll probably dig in and tell you why YOU are wrong and SHE is right.

Instead, share how what she did HURT you.

And ask her to apologize so you can feel like she cares and you’re on the same team.

This requires emotional STRENGTH to make yourself known in this way.

And, it’s MUCH more likely to create more intimacy.
