Please join us in welcoming Katie Thompson to the show today! Katie is an intuitive practitioner and dream worker based outside of Charleston, South Carolina. She is a lifelong lucid dreamer and medium and shares her experiences in her digital newsletter, Chronicles of a Dreamworker. In her personal practice Katie enjoys exploring connections to historical events and people with a personal interest in American history, craft, and culture.
Katie is also an internationally exhibited multimedia artist and New York Times featured creator of the Women of Woodworking Project. She is a children’s book author, and a longtime servant to the nonprofit arts community. Katie is also a bacterial meningitis and spinal cord injury survivor and advocate. She has shared her story of survival with millions to help raise awareness and prevention, and was most recently featured by NBC News Health. This near-death experience at the age of 18 helped solidify her life’s path towards providing care,confidence, and compassion to others on both sides of the veil in service of Spirit.
Katie is married to furniture maker Joseph Thompson and they have two children, Hamilton and
