Marcelo Ogata (aka @BugDreamer) is an underwater filmmaker and photographer. For over ten years, he has been to more than 40 different countries and has logged nearly 4,000 dives with his camera. He is completely self-taught and has had the privilege of working with incredible operations and brands while exploring the most biodiverse destinations on Planet Earth. He uses his camera as a weapon to help fight oceanic degradation and pollution.

Together, Marcelo and Josh dive (pun intended) into how he got started, favorite dive spots, tips for being a better underwater filmmaker / photographer, and so much more. They also nerd out (just a slight bit) on the various incredible corals and species seen in oceans around the world today. Even if you are a novice photographer or have no knowledge at all, you will most certainly learn some new things in today's episode. Marcelo is incredibly friendly, and he transfers that kind demeanor into his passion to help save our fragile oceans.

Casey Eisenberg joins us again for another special episode of Shared Experiences. He is joined by his roommate, Abhi Yadava. Ironically, both Abhi and Casey work for the same company. They each share what their experiences (pun intended) has been like thus far. We break into the nuances of the traditional workplace setup and how things have evolved. We talk remote work, efficiency in the workplace, the supposed millennial laziness factor, and how things should be changed for the better.

Growing up with Indian parents, Abhi tells us what expectations came with that and Casey shares his own personal/cultural anecdotes as well. What pressures are there? How connected do you truly feel? What are the stereotypes? They had also traveled to India together, so they elaborate on the differences between life there and in the states as well as what they learned upon reflection.

This wouldn't be a Shared Experiences podcast if we didn't at least touch upon dating. So, we are of course given status updates on their love life's and talk about the difficulty of dating today.

Lastly, as a fun side segment, we discuss influencers, entrepreneurship amongst young people, and the growing impact of social media.
