You may have heard of the infamous Venus Flytrap. Well, did you know that there are over 1000 different species of carnivorous plants! However, what exactly is a carnivorous plant? The official definition is "any plant especially adapted for capturing and digesting insects and other animals by means of ingenious pitfalls and traps." Some other species in existence are sundews, butterworts, pitcher plants, roridula, aldrovanda, and many more! I highly recommend a Google search to check out some of these amazing plants!

Today you are bound to learn loads more about them because our guest, Domonick Gravine, knows all about the subject. He is the founder and owner of RedLeaf Exotics: a specialized carnivorous plant nursery based out of Tennessee. Though, he specializes in growing a specific species known as Nepenthes or pitcher plants. His plants are huge and insanely beautiful.

Together, we shed light on how to grow these magnificent plants. We also get into what goes into running a nursery and growing a business online. Domonick grows many different variations of Nepenthes, so we talk about some of the crosses he has and the difference between the highland and lowland plants.

His name is Abe Kislevitz, and today, he stops by to share his experience working as the Senior Creative Director at GoPro. He originally started at University of Southern California studying mechanical engineering before being offered an opportunity with GoPro when it was in its infancy. Now, the rest is history as he has evolved with the company and has been a part of their team for over ten years.

Together, him and Josh get deep into his amazing position, what goes into those GoPro cameras, upcoming GoPro plans, advice for young creators, editing and filming tips and tricks, and even some specific shot breakdowns taken on the new GoPro Max. They cover numerous topics within the action camera world as well as the world of social media and influencing. Be sure to stay tuned as Part 2 of the interview will drop this upcoming Wednesday.

Abe is also an expert skier and surfer. His abilities are well documented and reflected in his various social media pages. Ah, roommates. Depending on the situation, they can be both a blessing and a curse. Let's look at the pros. The biggest being they help split the rent. For those trying to save money, having a roommate is by far the most economical option. Also, assuming you get along well with your roommate, it can be great to have a live-in companion. It's someone you can rely on for socializing and hanging out with. Now, as for the cons, i'm sure you are familiar. There's the chance that you live with somebody with whom you don't have anything in common with nor do you have similar living habits. Perhaps, they're messy, or they're too loud. Or maybe they aren't good about paying on time or even paying at all.

Obviously these are just some of the pros and cons. Stephanie and Josh dive deeper into the topic in today's episode. They touch upon the different forms of rooming situations such as when you're traveling with someone, living with a significant other, living with just a friend, etc. Each of these scenarios provides there own set of difficulties and comforts that are discussed. Of course, Stephanie and Josh also share their personal stories and experiences with sharing spaces, and they attempt to be unbiased in answering the question, "is it worth living or rooming with someone else"?

Growing up today is not what used to be 50, even 30 years ago. Since the advent of the internet, cell phones, and social media, the way in which kids spend their time has changed dramatically. As a result, parents have had to adapt when it comes to parenting style leading to a generation of kids that have been overly-sheltered and coddled.

Now, it's still a complex topic. Arguably, when raising kids in the past, parents were too little involved in their children's activities and whereabouts. With parents being more mindful of their kid's doings, perhaps children today are less likely to get into trouble. There are definitely pros to parents being involved in their children's life, but just how much is too much? And are today's children and teens benefiting from this style of helicopter parenting? Those are just some of the questions Josh and Stephanie attempt to answer in today's episode.
