One of my favorite activities to do during the Halloween season is to go to Halloween Haunt at Kings Island (that's where the hint came from on the Instagram). If you don't know what Halloween Haunt is, it is basically a bunch of haunted houses and other spooky things at King's Island (which is a theme park in Mason, Ohio). In honor of the spooky season and the fact that Halloween Haunt was cancelled this year, I decided to do today's episode over extreme haunts. Extreme haunts are like haunted houses, but they are designed to be far more intense. People who visit extreme haunts are willingly signing themselves up to be tortured by people who could possibly be called psychopaths. This week I focused on Blackout, Scare house, Castle of Chaos, and the infamous McKamey Manor. These places are HORRIFYING. Would you sign yourself up to be beaten, gagged, drugged, and kidnapped by strangers?

It is 10:48 p.m. on May 19, 1983. A red Nissan sports car pulled into the McKenzie-Willamette Hospital ER in Springfield, Oregon. A young woman jumped out of the car and began shouting: “Someone killed my kids!" Inside were three children, two girls and a boy, covered in blood. I’ve been wanting to do this case FOREVER but I could not think of his name! I heard another podcast talk about it about a year ago (I believe it was Crime Junkie) but I just remember being like WTF? I was searching EVERYTHING like man, alligator, insurance, death, etc. and I kept getting weird stories about like a nail salon worked being attacked by an alligator while with a client. So, while researching for this episode I came across an actor named Matthew Hoffman who is in no way shape or form the same as the Matthew Hoffman I am talking about today. Matthew Hoffman is a man from Ohio who was found guilty of holding a 13-year-old girl hostage after murdering her family and stuffing their dismembered bodies into a hollowed-out tree. Initially, Hoffman just wanted to find a home to rob, however, this is clearly not how this case ended. Hoffman killed Tina Hermann, her 11-year-old son Kody Maynard, and her friend and neighbor Stephanie Sprang. He had also kidnapped Herrmann’s 13-year-old daughter, sexually assaulted her, and held her hostage until the police came to his home at 8 am the following Sunday. When police walked into his home, they were surprised by what they saw...

So... I made a Tik Tok that had over 1,100 likes (and I am very proud of that hehe). Anyways, the video  I made is about this little girl’s imaginary friend who her mother caught in a photograph who does not look very imaginary at all. Sorry I missed last week...it was not intentional! I started a new job and it threw off my recording schedule. But I'm here now and I am trying to get my life back together haha! Anyways...today's episode is about the death of Princess Diana. Princess Diana was born on July 1st, 1961 in Sandringham, United Kingdom. She was the first wife of Prince Charles, who was supposed to be heir to the throne, and she was the mother of Prince Harry and Prince William. There are SO MANY conspiracy theories surrounding her death, but the ones I focused on in this episode involve a government plan to kill her for many reasons. However, the truth was recently revealed by anonymous... do you trust them?

So I bought a serial killer coloring book off of Amazon. I turned to a random page and decided to do an episode on the man I turned to, which happened to be Jerry Brudos. Jerry Brudos is known as the Shoe Fetish Slayer or the Lust Killer (these names will make sense as you listen to the episode). As a child, Brudos was subjected to physical and emotional abuse by his mother because she wanted her third child to be a girl. As a teenager, Brudos began to stalk and harass women as well as go out at night to steal underwear and high heels. Brudos was said to have attacked his first victim in 1867, however, his notorious killing spree lasted from 1968 to 1969. Brudos bludgeoned, strangled, and murder four women during this time period and attempted to attack two others.

There was a movie that came out in 2005 called The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Very few people know that this movie was actually based on the real life of a German girl named Anneliese Michel. Ann Elisabeth, AKA Anneliese, Michel was born September 21st, 1952 in Leiblfing, Bavaria, West Germany to parents Josef and Anna. Anneliese had some psychiatric issues that included seizures as well as events in which she would black out and walk around in a trance-like state. After years of medical assistance in a psychiatric hospital, Anneliese's family and friends came to the conclusion that she was under demonic possession and sought help from the Catholic Church. After 67 exorcism sessions, Anneliese was finally released of the demons that were inside of her. Unfortunately, however, Anneliese died in her home on July 1st, 1976. Her death caused a lot of backlash against her family as well as the priest that performed the exorcisms, causing this case to be one of the few exorcisms to go to court. Was she under demonic possession, or was it just her Geschwind syndrome epilepsy?
