  • Shatter The Vain 125: Haunted Autumn
This is the one hundred and twenty fifth episode of Shatter The Vain. I’m Brad Chmielewski and this is a podcast all about the mobile MOBA Vainglory created by Super Evil Megacorp. Last week Super Evil Megacorp released update 1.23 with the new hero Gwen. BrianGlory and I went over all the changes and thoughts about 1.23 on episode 124 so if you missed that, be sure to check it out. But that 1.23 talk continues on episode 125. This week I have Slowdead909 joining me to discusses 1.23, Kestrel being overpowered and the different esports events happening around Vainglory. With Worlds just a few months a away, be sure to get your tickets and get ready to see the best teams in the world fight it out on the Halcyon Fold. All that and more on episode 125 of Shatter The Vain! If you’re typically an audio listener to the podcast, be sure to check out the video version on the Shatter The Vain YouTube channel. • Shatter The Vain 124: GwenGlory
This is the one hundred and twenty fourth episode of Shatter The Vain. I’m Brad Chmielewski and this is a podcast all about the mobile MOBA Vainglory created by Super Evil Megacorp. On October 12th, Super Evil Megacorp released Vainglory update 1.23. I wish I would have planned these episodes better so that I could have talked about update 1.23 on episode 123 instead of 124. Episode 123 was great and if you missed it you should really check it out because Owens and I had a great discussion about being an analyst. On the previous episode we didn’t talk much about the news and that works out perfectly because this way it allows BrianGlory and me to really dive into all the changes.    I’ll have to see how things shake out but like with any patch for Vainglory, it’s going to take awhile to get used to the changes. If there is anything that we missed, I’ll report back on a future episode. • Shatter The Vain 123: Being An Analyst
This is the one hundred and twenty third episode of Shatter The Vain. I’m Brad Chmielewski and this is a podcast all about the mobile MOBA Vainglory created by Super Evil Megacorp. Right now we seem to be in a light news week just coming off of TwitchCon and with the pending release of update 1.23. Because of this light news week this episode is going to be a little different. Instead of the normal news and forum static I’ll be focusing more on what it takes to be an analyst in Vainglory. Joining me to help talk about that is Owens, co-ower and Analyst for GankStars. If you’re looking to try your hand at the analysts role, you’re in luck because GankStars is looking to expand their team but you only have till October 15th. Fill out this form and show off your skills… maybe you’ll even impress Owens. All that and more on episode 123 of Shatter The Vain! If you’re typically an audio listener to the podcast, be sure to check out the video version on the Shatter The Vain YouTube channel.  If you’re looking for more ways to support the show, besides just listening then check out Shatter The Vain on Patreon. • Shatter The Vain 122: Skedaddle
This is the one hundred and twenty second episode of Shatter The Vain. I’m Brad Chmielewski and this is a podcast all about the mobile MOBA Vainglory created by Super Evil Megacorp. Coming off of TwitchCon there was a ton of great announcements for Vainglory, including the new hero Gwen and the re-colored special edition Celeste & Petal skin. All this should be coming in update 1.23, which should be dropping any day now and I can’t wait  for this update. Joining me on this episode to go over all the fun stuff coming down the pipeline is Gary of My Video Games News. The two of us also chat about the new Vainglory content creator program, as well as a few tips and tricks for new players who might have started playing recently. Although  there are a lot of similarities between DOTA2, League Of Legends and Vainglory, there are still a few differences that are always good to know when you first start playing.  All that and more on episode 122 of Shatter The Vain! If you’re typically an audio listener to the podcast, be sure to check out the video version on the Shatter The Vain YouTube channel.  If you’re looking for more ways to support the show, besides just listening then check out Shatter The Vain on Patreon. • Shatter The Vain 121: N3th3rKnight
This is the one hundred and twenty first episode of Shatter The Vain. I’m Brad Chmielewski and this is a podcast all about the mobile MOBA Vainglory created by Super Evil Megacorp. With the Autumn season of the Vainglory esports scene starting this week there were a few moves as players and teams shuffled around but not to the extreme that we saw in the Summer. It’s nice to have the Evil8 back as everyone can see which heroes the pros feel are strong and some of the interesting builds that tend to influence the different skill tiers. This week we also got a couple slight teases of the new hero that should be coming to the fold in update 1.22. Joining me to discuss the new hero, update 1.22 and the raise of Stormcrown is mal3ficarum. mal3ficarum streams on both Twitch & Mobcrush and is someone you should be watching if you’re looking for fun and an entertaining stream. All that and more on episode 121 of Shatter The Vain! • Shatter The Vain 120: Jump Jets
This is the one hundred and twentieth episode of Shatter The Vain. I’m Brad Chmielewski and this is a podcast all about the mobile MOBA Vainglory created by Super Evil Megacorp. Last week Super Evil Megacorp released update 1.22. I typically do a rundown episode when that happens but I ran out of time last week so we’ll cover some of the changes here in episode 120. Joining me on this episode is FourCourtJester. FourCourtJester is a shout caster, programmer and Vainglory fan. He’s also seen many different MOBAs over the last few years and has some strong opinions on the game. Along with update 1.22, the two of us also chat about the NA & EU Championships, the upcoming world championships and the idea of the game expanding to 4v4 or 5v5.    All that and more on episode 120 of Shatter The Vain! • Shatter The Vain 119: Fantasia
This is the one hundred and nineteenth episode of Shatter The Vain. I’m Brad Chmielewski and this is a podcast all about the mobile MOBA Vainglory created by Super Evil Megacorp. This past week had to have been crazy for anyone working for Super Evil Megacorp. Coming off the North American Summer Championships and the EU ones happening this past weekend. Then you had the Seasonal Skin Reissue drama going down with a number of people ready to riot. If that wasn’t enough, update 1.22 is about to get released and should be playable to all of us here in a few days. Helping me weed through all this news and talk about the Fantasia IV tournament is MadeMoiselle. MadeMoiselle has been on a couple other episodes and it’s always a treat to have her as a guest on the show. With update 1.22 dropping soon you can expect an update rundown episode here very soon, so be sure to hit that subscribe button. Shatter The Vain Show Notes - http://tinyurl.com/ShatterTheVain118

  • Shatter The Vain 118: Dear Diary
This is the one hundred and eighteenth episode of Shatter The Vain. I’m Brad Chmielewski and this is a podcast all about the mobile MOBA Vainglory created by Super Evil Megacorp. It’s Labor Day here in the United States and I’ve been on a bit of a vacation but I didn’t want to miss an episode of the podcast. Plus, there was a ton of stuff to touch on this week that was just too interesting to pass up and I couldn’t hold off for another week. Since I was traveling, this episode is a solo show and a little shorter than normal episodes. Be warned there are spoilers in this episode so if you haven’t watched the North American Championships in Seattle then you may want to hold off. On this episode I dive into Cloud9 joining the world of Vainglory, the NA Finals, Baron and a few of the skins that were announced. Coming off the hype and the action-packed finals makes it very exciting for the game right now, I personally can’t wait to see where this game goes in the next year. One year ago I wouldn’t of thought we’d see TSM and Cloud9 with teams in this space. If the game continues on this path I can’t even imagine where we’ll be at but you can count on me to be there for the ride. • Shatter The Vain 117: Decentish
This is the one hundred and seventeenth episode of Shatter The Vain. I’m Brad Chmielewski and this is a podcast all about the mobile MOBA Vainglory created by Super Evil Megacorp. Right now it seems a little quiet from Super Evil Megacorp as they focus on the Summer finals for NA and EU. Just because we don’t have a boatload of breaking news to talk about on the podcast there is still a lot happening in the community. One group that has been doing a lot is the guild TD. I have three members from TD joining me on this episode; TweedleDee, Digambara & Sharklegs. Now, TD may sound a little familiar because they used to be called Team Decentish, but after the skill tiers were re-named in Vainglory they decided to make a small adjustment to their name.  The three of us dive into Samuel and how update 1.21 has been treating him as well as getting excited for the Summer Championships that are happening in a week. We wrap up this weeks episode with a mini hero tier list as we pick who we think is strong this update.    If you’re looking to enter the Summer Party Phinn skin giveaway visit this link, http://tinyurl.com/STV117Phinn  Shatter The Vain Show Notes - http://tinyurl.com/ShatterTheVain117

  • Shatter The Vain 116: The Halcyon
This is the one hundred and sixteenth episode of Shatter The Vain. I’m Brad Chmielewski and this is a podcast all about the mobile MOBA Vainglory created by Super Evil Megacorp. It’s only been a few days since update 1.21 dropped but we’re already starting to see the meta shaking up a bit. So far Samuel seems very well balanced although we’re seeing him draw bans in ranked as people aren’t sure how to play against him or not wanting their team trying to learn him with their rank at risk. Helping me make sense of this weeks Vainglory news is fellow GankStars member KingCheez.  The two of us not only dive into how Samuel is shaking up The Halcyon Fold, we also chat about Evil 8, the summer championships and why we might be seeing longer queue times.
